I wish I could sit here and champion our new twenty first century creations with passion but I too feel they lack any real zest.

For example take a used Rolls-Royce 1972 Silver Shadow in gorgeous Seychelles blue (not a model from the 1980s as nobody can claim anything from the 80s was a hit) and compare it to an up to date Phantom. To start with there are two main differences: firstly the Silver Shadow in the advertising picture is parked outside a manor on a large gravel driveway whereas the Phantom is seemingly photographed on an airstrip. Then secondly, only the Phantom has a semi-naked hooker sprawled on its bonnet. So the question of style and dignity has been answered there.

The cars themselves look miles apart in terms of features. The Shadow has a proud undulating grace to its bodywork, rising up for the roof before elegantly declining for the bonnet. Its colour echoes of a Mediterranean villas swimming pool that looks out over the vast array of tiny islands, and the view from behind is like following Beyonce down the corridors of the White House to meet the President. The Phantom in deep jet black, on the other hand, looks like a high level drug dealers mode of transport, with its chunky body and over the top, dazzling silver grill. It is all rather aggressive on the eye and makes you want to file GBH charges on first glance.

Inside the car doesnt fare much better the leather seats try too hard and the veneer looks like it doesnt belong beside a stash of cocaine which it will inevitably be placed alongside. Yet, although the Silver Shadow has a rather dated, panelled charm there still is something about it. Its dashboard fully accepts it is outdated and the carpeted lining does look incredibly awful in the most hideous turquoise but this car as a whole completely outdoes its ugly, robotic successor.

If the Phantom is the future, and the used Rolls-Royce cars are the distant past then I feel the prestige of the company will continue fall. Now, I still believe growing up to Hansons Mmmbop, yo-yos, the Simpsons and Harry Potter to be the best childhood possible, but I am willing to accept this is purely for my own nostalgic bias. I am not however willing to say the same about cars. Maybe in thirty years time people will look back fondly upon the Phantom when they see their new Rolls-Royce Juggernaught is one step away from a Transformers boot.

Low priced Close contact saddles?

I want to get a jumping saddle when i save enough money, prefferably one 350$ or lower. I liked my friends kincade, i want to buy new so i can get the fullest lifetime out of it. Any good deals or brands? I dont mind synthetic but I would prefferably like a reddish brown leather one, anyone now any CHEAPER jumping saddles?

Any new saddle you can get for $350 will be JUNK! You want to get the "fullest lifetime" out of it? Not gonna happen. These saddles will fall apart in no time. The leather feels like plastic, the stitching generally comes apart in no time, the trees break, and they offer little comfort for the horse. Not to mention they usually are not well balanced and will put you in a weird position. To buy a decent new saddle you will need to spend at least $800.

You would do better to buy a decent saddle used. Kinkaid is about the lowest end of what I consider decent that you can buy. Kinkaid will hold up better than the real cheapos, but it's not going to hold up all that well. In your price range, I would look for used saddles for sure. No. When I was little I thought jeans were supposed to cost 200 dollars. I didn't even know what stores like dillards and macy's are. But now that I'm older (21 instead of 13), I actually prefer to buy cheaper clothes because I've gotten so sick of people coming up to me and being like, "oh my god, is that marc jacobs?" Honestly, just because you recognize a brand doesn't mean you're cool. Now I wear H&M and Nordstroms brand. I'm also way into Target's special lines they do with high class designers. So my advice to you dear is: even though your parents will buy you whatever you want, try to buy things that aren't going to make all your friends jealous. Girls at your age are bitchy and you don't want them spreading stuff about you just because their parents can't afford to give them the newest D&G tote. So just tone down the brand wear for a little bit, or save it for special occasions.

Binoculars are for distance vision, but a good pair of hunting binoculars should be able to focus close also. Another tactical gear for hunting is human scent elimination suit. Many hunting game can smell human presence and will run away from the hunter's vicinity if it detects the human smell. The carbon lined scent elimination suit can prevent the wearer's body odor from leaking out into the atmosphere for about 40 hours. The suit has to be activated before wearing. For getting the best results, hunters should avoid wearing this tactical gear when they start from home. They should not use it while driving and should don it only once they reach the woods so that they get the maximum benefit from its functional hours.

A GPS is also a necessary tactical gear for hunting. A GPS unit can do many things like display the hunter's exact position on the hunting ground, calculate distances and speeds, store locations that have been crossed during the travel, help the user to navigate back to the vehicle, or even track the position of the hunting dogs if they are used. There are many varieties of GPS units to choose from. 3.73 gear ratio or 4.10 gear ratio. Rear axle?

Which of these is better? I am looking to buy a GM Heavy Duty Truck. I will be doing a lot of heavy pulling with the truck. I will be pulling a travel trailer behind the truck. Also will be traveling long distances. Am just interested in hearing which is better and why! Thanks in Advance!

the 3.73 is a good mid gear if you do limited towing but spend most of your time driving highway speeds, it will be giving you better fuel efficiency. the 4.10 is a bull for pulling but it will cost you about 4-6 mpg as well. i would suggest you look at the tow rating of the truck with both axle ratios and if you know the weight of the trailer and it falls into both gear ratio's then go 3.73. If it only falls into the 4.10 range than that will answer your question.
