What Kind Of Travel Pillow To Use?
Traveling almost always results with a sore cramped neck. Whether traveling by means of car, plane, train, or boat you're bound to fall asleep at some point en route or upon arrival and your head is going to have no place to go. It always happens that you wake up from your long awaited snooze to find your head dangling in mid air causing unnecessary strain and discomfort to the neck. This awful situation doesn't always have to be the case.
A travel pillow provides the perfect cloud of comfort to cradle your neck. No longer will your trip be ruined due to an aching body, and no longer will your head drill the window as the car hits a giant pothole. You will never again have to be embarrassed when your head falls onto the stranger's shoulder beside you because you didn't have a personal pillow. Security will never again turn you away because of the body pillow that you thought was a good idea to bring on the plane ride. A down travel pillow can solve all of these problems.
Travel doesn't always have to result in lack of sleep. Travel pillows provide the proper support for your neck and head while in the sitting position. These personal pillows are the perfect gift for frequent travelers, an adorable child's first pillow, or simply a throw pillow for your couch or bed. The ideas for these pillows seem endless due to their practicality.
When planning a trip via plane, an airplane pillow should be an absolute necessity. It makes you feel as if the clouds are seeping in through the windows. And if you're ever stuck on the runway for hours at end an airplane pillow will be sure to provide the perfect cushion. If you're headed across country via the tracks, a train pillow will help to absorb the rumble of the engine and make for a pleasant ride.
Travel pillows are often confused with the donut shape pillow that also supports your neck. While the donut is an excellent pillow for traveling its not quite as practical. The smaller size rectangle of the personal pillow can be manipulated into which ever position you would like. The donut pillow provides fewer options for comfort.
DOWNLITE carries a travel pillow made with premium down. Its hypoallergenic Grey Goose Down softness is like no other pillow out there. The smaller size of 12x16 makes it the perfect personal pillow. It is covered in 100% cotton preventing any down from coming through. Its machine washable and dryable factor makes care quick and easy.
It is recommended that a pillow protector is used to encase the travel pillow. This helps to keep the skin oils and makeup from damaging the actual pillow. Also, in order to receive the utmost comfort from your pillow it is highly recommended that you fluff your personal pillow everyday to ensure that it remains full. The pillow fluffing and pillow protector combined with the comfort of a travel pillow guarantees pure luxury whether on the rode or in the air.

Advice for this summer?!?
Ok, well I have NEVER been on an airplane. I'm 16, and this summer I'm going to Costa Rica with spanish teachers, and then after I get back from that 2 week trip, I'm flying to Florida BY myself to be a nanny for about a month...I'm so nervous!!
Any advice about air travel? And more advice about when I go by myself? I'm way scared...also, what to pack? Can you bring a pillow and blanket with you on the plane?
I love flying. I've been on like 10 planes before. I'm usually nervous at first, but it's so much fun. I've never flown by myself and I almost had the opportunity to this summer, but that didn't work out (my parents were thinking about sending me to California to see family). You can take a blanket but I don't know about a pillow. I had a neck pillow the last time I went flying, but I don't think a normal size pillow is a good idea, unless it's in your suitcase that you check.
Don't be too nervous about flying. It's fun and I'm sure you'd enjoy it. I think take-off is the best part because it feels cool.
Good luck and I hope this helps
EDIT- make sure you have gum or hard candy so you can pop your ears. it's either that or yawning a lot.
