In the Bible But not in the Quran (45): Was King David a Sinful Traitor-a?

Was King David guilty, aggressor, sinful and traitor in the Bible?

Had King David committed adultery in the Bible?

Yes

In 2 Samuel 11:2-5, the Bible declares that one evening King David saw a woman bathing. The woman was very beautiful. King David sent messengers to get her. She came to him, and he slept with her. After that, the woman conceived and sent word to David, saying, "I am pregnant."

This story illustrate that King David committed adultery

This woman will be the mother of King Solomon!

---------------

2 Samuel 11:2-5 in different versions of the Bible:

New International Version (NIV)

2 One evening David got up from his bed and walked around on the roof of the palace. From the roof he saw a woman bathing. The woman was very beautiful, 3 and David sent someone to find out about her. The man said, "Isn't this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam and the wife of Uriah the Hittite?" 4 Then David sent messengers to get her. She came to him, and he slept with her. (She had purified herself from her uncleanness.) Then she went back home. 5 The woman conceived and sent word to David, saying, "I am pregnant."

King James Version (KJV)

2And it came to pass in an evening tide, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king's house: and from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon.

3And David sent and enquired after the woman. And one said, Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?

4And David sent messengers, and took her; and she came in unto him, and he lay with her; for she was purified from her uncleanness: and she returned unto her house.

5And the woman conceived, and sent and told David, and said, I am with child.

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

2Now when evening came David arose from his bed and walked around on the roof of the king's house, and from the roof he saw a woman bathing; and the woman was very beautiful in appearance.

3So David sent and inquired about the woman. And one said, "Is this not Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?"

4David sent messengers and took her, and when she came to him, he lay with her; and when she had purified herself from her uncleanness, she returned to her house.

5The woman conceived; and she sent and told David, and said, "I am pregnant."

Was King David guilty, aggressor, sinful and traitor in the Noble Quran?

Had King David committed adultery in the Quran?

No! Never ever

There is no such story in the Noble Quran.

This malicious story is not present in the Noble Quran, the book which forbids saying anything that could dishonor any prophet including King David.

This nasty and wicked story could be applicable for a lewd shamelessly vulgar burlesque street man not for a great prophet like King David.

King David is mentioned many times in the Noble Quran as for example:

In the verse 38:17, Allah, exalted is He says:

Bear O Muhammad with what they say in your rejection, and remember Our bondman David; He says: mention to them the event of Our slave David, the one of fortitude, the lord of might who had strength for our worship.

He was obedient, always engaged in the worship of Allah.

Lo! He was ever turning in repentance towards Allah,

Indeed he was a penitent [soul]; always returning to what pleases Allah.

The one which Allah blessed him like that would never ever have done anything malicious like that.

According to the Noble Quran, it is a very big unforgiving sin to say or to believe that King David or any other prophet had committed adultery.

Anyone does say or believe that King David or any other prophet had committed adultery will dwell in the Eternal fire.

Why people said that the Jews steal the land from Palestinian and who started the war in 1948?

I love peace and I hate any war or killing civilans,I don't agree most of the Isreal's policies .But we have to face the fact, the fact is the Jews have had dominion over the land since 1272. Isreal became a nation in 1312 B.C.,King David established the city of Jerusalem as the capital. The history tell us the Jews had been there for a long time, agree ?And after the world war two,The UN General Assembly approved the 1947 UN Partition Plan dividing the territory into two states, with the Jewish area consisting of roughly 55% of the land, and the Arab area roughly 45%. Jerusalem was planned to be an international region administered by the UN to avoid conflict over its status.Following the State of Israel's establishment, the armies of Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, and Iraq joined the fighting and began the Arab–Israeli War.

I heard this joke once:
The leader of the Israelis and the leader of the Palestinians sit down to discuss a peace plan. The leader of the Israelis asks if he can begin with a story, to which the other leader agrees. The Israeli says, "When Moses was about to cross into the land that God had given him, a Palestinian snuck up and stole the Ten Commandments..."
The Palestinian interrupted, "Impossible! There were no Palestinians back then!"
The Israeli then said, "Now that we have that settled, let us begin the talks."
