Carry-on bag for 10 days in Seoul, South Korea?
I'm going to spend 10 days in Seoul this April. To cut costs and make getting in/out of the airport easier, I'm aiming to not check in any luggage and just pack everything in my carry-on bag.
I think a passenger is allowed to take one carry-on bag and one other bag like a purse. I have a rather large purse (~15x10), and I'm planning to bring a larger duffle bag as my carry-on (~18x10x10). Is that okay?
Also, what should I bring in my carry-on? I'm going purchase a few items (clothing, makeup, souvenirs) there, so I would need room to bring it back too.

You really should check with your airline about the size restrictions for your carry on but I think you will be ok. You know that you can carry only one ziploc bag of liquids and gels and they have to be the small travel size.
What you take depends on what you will be doing there. If you will be strictly a tourist you need comfortable walking shoes, light long pants as there may still be some coolish weather. Bring interchangeable outfits in matching colors - tops, skirts, shorts, pants, whatever you like to wear and some items that you can wash at night in your hotel room. Plan to buy small amounts of shampoo and so on there, and your hotel may provide those items. You might want a pair of sandals in addition to walking shoes, but it may not be really warm there in April. since they are having below freezing temperatures right now. To fit everything in, bring only wrinkle resistant clothing and roll everything tightly. Use every inch of space - for example fill your shoes with socks to use the space. Wear layers when you are traveling so that you are bringing along some extra clothing that way. A cheap camera is a must.
