How can I go about recording video footage of PlayStation 3 gameplay in HD?
I have a regular PS3-HD setup with a 32" LG Widescreen. I want to record some in-game footage preferably in HD.
I guess the question is two-fold:
a) Is there any software available or any other way I can record directly from my PS3 in HD without using a PC/Laptop or spending a large amount of money on a Digital Foundry license?
b) If not what is the best set up available to me and where can I get the equipment from etc? (Note: I have a laptop, so normal PCI capture cards are out)
As I need to record directly mobile phones or personal camcorders are out.

PS: I done some video capture work on the 360 last year, but in SD; using a regular video cable and a capture card in the PCI slot of a PC. It didnt work too good.
you could try to connect your ps3 to your tv through a dvd recorder and then record it that way. obviously it won't be in HD but it should good quality. i don't know if there are any hi def recorders out there yet though.
