A company that has lasted over 50 years in the luggage industry, Rimowa first became popular back in the 1950s, when the major shift from land travel to air travel was made. When flying, do I need to put my daily contacts in a zip lock baggy to conform to the FAA 3-1-1 rule?

I'm leaving for France tomorrow. I'm bringing a carry on and one checked bag, I have to take 10 days of daily contacts so thats 20 individual contacts all with solution in them. In addition I'm bringing 2 days of contacts in my carry-on in case my luggage is lost. My ultimate question concerns the FAA's 3-1-1 rule. All liquids must be 3oz and in a 1 quarter zip lock baggy. So...what should I do about bringing contacts? (ie. what to bring them in, how to bring them..etc) Thanks, sorry if i'm really confusing!

You are not limited in the amount or volume of medically necessary items you may bring in your carry-on baggage.

BUT if the medically necessary items exceed 3 ounces or are not contained in a one-quart, zip-top plastic bag, you MUST declare to one of the Security Officers at the checkpoint for further inspection.
