In addition to other items, I was thinking of getting a set of luggage for my daughter for Christmas. She is 18 and will be heading off to college next fall. I would love to hear from girls her age and let me know if that is an okay gift or not. I don't want her to think I'm trying to get rid of her--lol. Thanks!
She already has laptop, ipod touch, cell phone, digital camera, etc. I will also be getting her a ton of gift cards to her favorite stores, XM satellite radio, new sheets and comforter set.....and more!

If I were getting luggage as a Christmas gift, I would want something like that... I would also get her other things, more personal mother-daughter momentos like a nice necklace or a scrapbook of her favorite memories
