i was pushing him around on a wheel chair in the park, and he accused me of stealing money from his wallet ( i had been), and he grabbed my arm and started squeezing powerfully. the pain was excruciatin g... he said he was going to tell and he wouldn't let go so i grabbed the cane from the holder and hit him twice with it now he has bruises

Let's see. You stole money from him AND you assaulted him twice with his cane (he was well within his rights to squeeze his arm for your theft), leaving bruises. He is elderly and you could have broken his leg and to be honest, unless he sees a doctor, you have no idea what damage you did to him by hitting him with his cane. And by the way, there is a name for what you did...it is called ELDER ABUSE...and it is just as much a crime as child abuse is!

Your grandfather is going to tell your mother, as he should, and I hope she grounds you for the next 5 years until you turn 18. You have to learn not to be a thief, and then when called on it, you need to learn to take your punishment and not compound things by physically assaulting your victim.

Do you know what is going to happen if he calls the police on you? You will go to juvenile court and you will probably be put on probation and possibly given community service...if you are lucky. You could be punished more severely for having assaulted a vulnerable elderly person in a wheel chair.

Personally, I hope that your grandfather does call the police on you as you are a criminal in the making. Hopefully, getting the juvenile court system involved with you will turn you from your future path of crime. And the next time you are thinking about stealing from an old man, think about how your arm felt...and don't do it!
