Must-Not-Miss Attractions in Orlando Florida
You can find a whole lot of attractions to enjoy in Orlando. Although Disney may be the highlight of the city at the very least for several tourists, you can find other equally impressive and exciting theme parks to incorporate within your itinerary. Below is really a list of all of the must-not-miss attractions in this component of Florida.
The Big three
Disney World - As a lot of would agree, Mickey is the "king of the hill" in this city. His theme park is practically as big as the city. It has 4 main theme parks, two water parks, and 22 themed resorts. Even in case you invest a month there, you still won't see every little thing. The 4 theme parks include the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Disney's Hollywood Studios. You are able to pick to stay in one of the Disney Good Neighbor Hotels. Or you may opt for some thing that's not as pricey for instance hotels situated near the theme park like Holiday Inn Lake Buena Vista for instance. Kissimmee hotels are a different option in case you do not mind staying in a different city.
Universal Studios - Yet another popular theme park inside the city is Universal Studios. It is not anywhere near as big as Disney World but it has two theme parks along with a shopping/dining/entertainment complicated referred to as CityWalk which are far more than sufficient to keep you pleased and occupied. This place also provides you the chance to brush shoulders with Hollywood's best celebrities, which is if you are lucky enough to chance upon a live movie shoot.
Sea World - For those who love animals especially sea creatures, Sea World is a must-visit theme park. The primary star of this attraction is Shamu, whom everybody just adores. The place features countless of animal displays, spectacular shows, and thrilling rides which you won't ever get tired of. The park is both an education and entertaining attraction that you can't miss throughout your visit to Orlando.
More Other Parks to Visit
Discovery Cove - This 1 is Sea World's sister park. But with an added twist. It's truly a simulation of the Caribbean island, where guests can swim with the dolphins, walk by the aviary, bask below a water fall, go on a snorkeling adventure, and live a life inside the tropics. Despite the fact that the admission is fairly high-priced, it would surely be worth it.
Forever Florida - If you've gotten enough of the theme parks, do not fret. There's far more to Florida than those. One attraction to take a look at is Forever Florida, which allows you to take a glimpse with the state's old stature. This four,700 acre eco-ranch is also a wildlife conservatory where adventure lovers can explore the location on a zipline, safari coach, or horseback.
Winter Park Scenic Boat Tours - This hour-long boat tide features a part of Florida that has been untouched by the magic of Disney. It'll show you the other natural gifts of the spot and you won't be able to help but be mesmerized by its rich flora and fauna.
Kissimmee Air Museum - This really is not situated in Orlando but within the nearby city of Kissimmee. It is only a couple of minutes away so you won't mind the travel. The exhibits here that tell about every thing about air transportations is usually enjoyed in a close range simply because they're not confined behind glass.

Transportation from Orlando Airport to Disney (or Disney Area)?
Are there shuttles between Orlando Airport (MCO) and Disney or the Disney area? Cost?
Public bus? Cost of a cab? (I don't need to rent a car - my family lives in Kissimmee and I'm surprising them for Christmas). Looking to go cheap - Spent all my money on a last minute airfare & gifts for my niece and nephews.
Thanks, but I'm not staying at Disney or on Disney property/hotels. I know Disney runs shuttles for their customers/guests, but if anyone knows non-Disney shuttles, I'd really appreciate it.
Found some info on the public bus on www.golynx.com. (3.5 hr commute!! ouch, but only $6.... hmmmm)
MEARS!!! WONDERFUL!! $20 & IT GETS ME 1.3 MILES FROM MOM & DAD'S HOUSE!!! THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH!!!
Disney runs shuttles to its properties. It's been a while, but I believe it was free if you were staying on site. There were plenty of them and they ran back and forth all the time/
