How to Decide Which Briefcase Ideally Suits the Professional
Before the age of electronics, people used stylish briefcases as a way to carry around their private documents and personal items. It was not long ago, that many lawyers, doctors, salespeople and other professionals had simple soft leather briefcases. Most of these cases were very lightweight, and because they were not required to carry much, they were very functional.
Many of the simple briefcases had a snap latch on the top or front that easily held papers and documents in place. However, because many professionals carry laptops and other small electronics along with their documents and files, a more secure briefcase is required. Without the case being padded, lined, waterproof or insulated, any electronic equipment or portable computer can easily become damaged.
If the professional or business person travels a lot such as commuting on trains, subways and airplanes, it is imperative to have a well-built briefcase. Aluminum briefcases or those made out of another light metal, can easily secure and protect all valuables stored inside. Leather cases, or those made from synthetic or natural fibers are just not crafted with the same level of protection.
Many metal and aluminum briefcases are designed with straps or interlocking padding as a way to secure the laptop firmly in place. Because the aluminum case becomes waterproof with a tight seal when closed, it can easily deter any damage of electronic equipment, from rain and snow.
Of today's well-crafted aluminum briefcases, many are very stylish and come in a variety of colors. Some have installed rubber or plastic feet on the bottoms of the briefcase as a level of protection when setting the case down on the ground. Others have reinforced corners as an additional support and guard against heavy use. Some cases are fabricated with matching handles and adjustable straps for easy carrying.
For those requiring the utmost security of valuable electronics and personal items, many aluminum cases, are crafted with combination and key locks. Some larger briefcases are made with an additional combination lock, providing yet one more layer of theft prevention.
Carrying a briefcase in public always makes a fashion statement. As an extension accessory, it should specifically reflect the style and design of its owner. For anyone wishing to make a statement of power, such as a salesperson or lawyer, it is important to have a briefcase that mirrors his or her determination.
The size of the briefcase matters. Should the individual carry around a briefcase overcrowded or stuffed with too many papers, electronics and files, it reflects an image of an unorganized person. The case should be large enough to easily handle carrying a laptop, files, documents and any of other additional electronics required. It should be easy for that individual to simply reach in and grab whatever they need out of the case.
Just as important, a briefcase should not be too large for the individual. Carrying around a minimal amount of papers and electronics, in an oversized briefcase tends to diminish the size and stature of the person carrying it. It is important to consider all these aspects of design, style and function when deciding which briefcase is required for each individual.

please answer this period and family vacation question?!?
ok...so i think we're going away for a month so im pretty sure i'll get it. i am very shy about it and i dont want my sisters to notice anything, and id prefer if my dad didnt either.
1) how do i bring the stuff i need on the plane and to the place? unless of course im on it at the time of travel cud i just count on my mom to have everything i need? i really dont want to put pads and tampons in the suitcase cuz for one my sisters cud easily find them while looking for their things and two the people at customs might go through them infront of everyone how embarassing is that?....do u think i can just put them in my hand luggage?
2) how do i deal with it itself while on holiday? we might be all sharing one room and bathroom at certain times. i want to be a little discreet. i guess if i keep everything in my own lil bag i can discreetly take what i need out and slip off to the bathroo, lock the door and put it on?
who can help?
why are you so concerned what your sisters would think. They will have to deal with their periods eventually too unless they are already. Nothing to be ashamed about at all. But if you are concerned about being discrete, remember tampons and pads are quite small. I suggest just rolling them up in your socks or something in your suitcase if you are that worried.
