Napa Wine Tasting Tours-A Great Experience

Traveling to the Napa Valley for a few days of Napa wine tasting can be impressive. You will find literally hundreds of vineyards and wineries within this historic wine growing area. There are stunning views in nearly every direction and incredibly landscaped estate vineyards to check out.

The key to a wonderful Napa wine tasting holiday is to plan in advance and do your research. For those who really don't like to drive you may want to consider a group tour. For those who wish to take the time to view the area yourself and do a little shopping you may want to get yourself a map of all the vineyards and rent a car. We discovered the best prices can often end up being found in Calistoga or Napa Valley wineries.

If it is your first time touring the Napa Valley you might want to consider the Napa Wine Train. This can be a great experience that enables you to taste a number of vintages and observe the countryside while relaxing aboard this historic train. You can even indulge in a plate of appetizers that may consist of local fruits and cheeses, a tasty lunch or a fabulous supper.

You could be considering a really romantic vacation and desire to tour the region and enjoy some Napa Valley wine tasting with that someone special. Often the best tours are done by yourself. You can spend some time and linger at a winery long enough to meet up with the vintners and find out about growing and pressing grapes into various distinctive vintages. We recommend you start in Calistoga and make your way to Yountville.

If you are touring with the kids know which vineyards appeal to families. Some will make available grape juice tastings for children and feature special family oriented entertainment through the summer. The Napa and Sonoma Valleys are usually expensive for families. One economical suggestion and to add to your kids knowledge as well is to take them to one of the Northernmost California Missions.

Often your funds may be the main concern. There are a one or two ways to save while touring the area such as things like picking up your lunch at a local deli or creating your own picnic lunch. You will find several family owned farms in the region that feature their home grown fruit, vegetables, cheeses and breads on sale at delightful road side stands.

When driving through the valley you will discover that there are vineyards everywhere along both sides of the road. No matter if you check out well known names such as Berringer or Mondavi with a group tour or travel on your own on the Silverado Trail Road to do some Napa wine tasting you're likely to love your travel to to the Napa and or Sonoma wine country.

Are there any affordable tour operators that accept young children on their trips?

I've looked at every family travel website possible and only ONE takes kids aged 4 (and the tour was a 6 day trip in Peru for an insane $4000+ each.) Most operators only accept children ages 5 and up.

I would really just like a family-oriented, AFFORDABLE!, trip for my 4 year old daughter and I to go on - trip, not a sit around resort. Anywhere in Europe or Latin america, preferrably France or Costa Rica!

Thanks for any help!

I know a good online tour agency named Tours4fun.com, but i'm not sure whether they accpet such a little children just aged at 4. So i adviced you log in their website and inquiry.
